Registrar's Office

Registration for academic subjects is carried out by students after a detailed discussion of their individual learning trajectory with an adviser, who provides explanations on the choice of subjects according to standard curricula and a Catalog of elective subjects.

The dates of registration are indicated in the Academic Calendar.

Registration procedure:

1) Registration of new applicants to KazNPU named after Abai is carried out before the beginning of the first semester after completing the orientation week. For this category of students, the basis for access to registration is an order to enroll in the university and pay for a semester (if tuition is paid). 2). The remaining students register for the disciplines of the next academic year and re-study of academic disciplines (Retake) during the registration period specified in the Academic Calendar (April).

Second-year students and older have the right to make changes to their individual curriculum in the amount of no more than 10% of the total number of credits by August 20. In this case, an application is submitted to the registration department indicating the changes in the prescribed form.

Academic streams (groups) of students are formed according to the principle of a sufficient number of students enrolled in this discipline. The academic stream has a capacity of 30 or more students, an academic group of 10-30 people, and an academic subgroup of 10-12 people, with the exception of disciplines with a small number of students.

In the event that the number of students enrolled in this discipline during the registration period is less than the minimum established number, the discipline will not be opened and will not be included in the work curriculum, which will be announced on the information stand and on the pages of the faculty of the university's educational portal. Students who have enrolled in this discipline must submit an application for changes to the IEP by August 20.

If students register for an academic discipline in an amount exceeding the maximum set number, an additional academic stream is formed for this discipline.

Academic streams of students in elective disciplines of specialties with a small contingent of students are formed according to the principle of enrolling all students in one discipline.

If a student who has been transferred to the next course has not been registered for academic subjects within the prescribed period and has not formed his individual curriculum, then the working curriculum of this course is taken as the basis for his education.

The student has the right to make changes to the IEP within the framework of the work curriculum of the specialty before the start of the semester of theoretical studies. The deadline for submitting the IEP to the registration department is the 1st week of the semester.

The formed PPI in 3 copies is signed by the student and submitted to the adviser for approval. The adviser, in the absence of comments, signs the IUP.

After closing the registration for academic subjects, making adjustments in accordance with the established procedure, the IEP of students is approved by the dean of the faculty and serves as the basis for drawing up a work curriculum, calculating tuition fees in a given academic year or academic period. After approval, one copy remains with the student, the second copy is transferred by the adviser to the registration department for the organization of intermediate certification, the third is kept by the adviser and serves as the basis for monitoring the implementation and development of the professional curriculum by the student.

The student's IPU is registered under his personal identification number X.

Registration for the summer semester is carried out on time according to the Academic Calendar.
