Migration visa support
The University provides comprehensive support to international students at all stages of the migration process, from obtaining a student visa to registering at the place of stay and extending visa documents.

2. Obtaining a student visa
Who needs a visa
Citizens of countries with which Kazakhstan has no visa-free regime agreements must apply for a visa.
The current list of countries and regulations can be clarified on the website of the migration service or the consulate.
Types of student visas
Student visa (type C9) – for a long stay for the purpose of study.
Short–term study visa - for participation in short-term courses or internships.
Necessary documents for applying for a visa
1. An invitation from the university (issued by the university at the request of the student).
2. A foreign passport (valid for at least 6 months after graduation).
3. Completed visa application (the form is provided by the consulate).
4. Photographs of the established sample (3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a white background).
5. Confirmation of financial viability (certificate from the bank or letter from the sponsor).
6. Medical certificate (if required).
7. The document confirming the payment of the consular fee.
8. An enrollment agreement or an invitation to study.
Document submission procedure
1. Receiving an invitation from the university:
After enrollment, the student submits an application to the international department to receive an official invitation.
The deadline for issuing an invitation is up to 14 business days.
2. Submission of documents to the Consulate of Kazakhstan:
The documents are submitted in person or through the visa application center.
Online registration is possible (if provided for your country).
3. Terms of consideration of the application:
The standard time is up to 10-15 business days.
4. Obtaining a visa:
Upon approval, the visa is pasted into the passport.
