Department of "Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan"

The Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a promising structure with high scientific potential in preserving interethnic harmony, intercultural dialogue and further consolidation of the people of Kazakhstan.

The Center of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of KazNPU named after Abai was opened on May 23, 2018. A Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation between the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and KazNPU named after Abai was signed. The memorandum was signed by Chairman of the Association of APK Departments, Doctor of Economics, Professor A.A.Bashmakov and Rector of Abai KazNPU, Doctor of Economics, Professor T.O.Balykbayev.

The structure of the center of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is determined by the staffing table of the university, the work is carried out in accordance with internal regulatory documents. The head of the center is Candidate of Historical Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences J.K.Simtikov.

The APK Center, as a structural unit of the university, is under the jurisdiction of the Vice-Rector for Social Development. The material base of the department is at the proper level. Taking into account the political content of the department, it is provided with educational, methodological and scientific literature.

The main goal of the center of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan is to further unite society, harmonize ethno-confessional relations, strengthen interethnic harmony; coordinate educational and research work in the ethno-political field; develop common methodological and practical approaches to promoting the Kazakh model of social harmony.

Activities and objectives of the Center of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan:

- strengthening interethnic and intercultural relations;

- the sociological factor is the study of ways to master the state language;

- coordination of educational and scientific research work of an ethnopolitical orientation;

- consideration of ways of compromise for the resolution of social contradictions arising in society;

- commitment to tolerance;

- development of methodological recommendations for the implementation of special courses in the educational process;

- study of the ethnocultural and ethnopolitical sphere;

- leadership of the Student Assembly "Dostyk Live".

The main directions of the center of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan:

- educational and methodical work;

- scientific research;

- social and educational work;

- providing information and explanatory work at the university on the implementation of ethnopolitical issues.

Communication with authorized bodies. Systematic, constant work is underway with the Association of Assembly Departments, the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies, ethnocultural associations of Almaty and the office of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of the Almaty region.

Guest lectures by members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan are held on the basis of the center. The Center of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan cooperates with all structural divisions of KazNPU named after him. Abai, namely: with the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy of KazNPU named after Abaya is in charge of the Dostyk Live Student Assembly on an ongoing basis.

Representatives of more than 22 nationalities study at our university, all of them actively participate in the creation of youth organizations, in intercultural associations of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, as part of the implementation of the Main Directions and priorities of the national policy of the state, the university has been actively involved in strengthening interethnic and interethnic harmony in our region since independence.
