Scientific Advisory Council
The Scientific Advisory Council is a consultative and advisory collegial body for the development of scientific research potential, scientific cooperation with other educational and scientific organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad.
The main tasks of the NCC are to review and prepare recommendations on the following issues:
1) Support for the scientific potential of educational institutions;
2) Development of scientific cooperation and joint research with leading educational and scientific organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign universities and international organizations;
3) Consideration of the topics of project proposals and organizational issues related to obtaining grant support from various sources for scientific research conducted at the University;
4) Analysis of project execution and research, generalization of research experience at the University;
5) Scientific and methodological support of educational programs for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in master's and doctoral studies;
6) expert evaluation of monographs and other scientific publications;
7) Cooperation with the Council of Young Scientists of the University;
8) Support and development of student science; promotion of competitions of scientific papers of students and undergraduates, teaching staff;
9) Consideration of the topics of planned scientific conferences and events of the Decade of Science;
10) Evaluation of the proposed technologies for the commercialization of scientific research and educational departments of the University, etc.
The NCC consists of 17 highly qualified scientists who have authority and recognition by the Kazakh and international scientific community in their respective fields of science, as well as unique experience in managing scientific projects.
The working procedure of the Scientific Advisory Council: meetings of the Council are held upon receipt of applications.
Documents for consideration by the Council are accepted at least five working days before the meeting. The Council meetings are held offline.
