The social and educational work of the Department of Economic Specialties is carried out both directly in classes with students and in groups, and in their free time. The emphasis is on patriotic, educational and labor, and cultural and aesthetic education.

The main components of the educational work of the department are designed and implemented taking into account the need to form a creative, competitive, intelligent personality, capable of continuous creative self-development, in the conditions of university education.

Advisors are assigned to carry out ongoing educational and educational work for each specialty. Throughout the academic period, advisors carry out organizational, methodological and consulting work with students aimed at assisting in mastering the educational program.

In accordance with the Plan of Educational Work of the Department, diverse work is carried out aimed at:

- stimulating students to active social activities;

- promoting the idea of ​​​​getting a quality education;

- developing personal responsibility;

- increasing active civic position;

- developing positive value orientations;

- increasing creative activity;

- developing organizational skills;

- forming ideas about a healthy lifestyle;

- instilling skills of spiritual and physical self-improvement;

- forming a sense of corporate community.

Educational work is carried out in the following areas:

- advisory activities in academic groups;

- participation in general institute and university events;

- thematic shifts in the university dormitory.

In accordance with the specified areas, the department uses the following forms of educational work:

- organizing meetings of students with the management and teachers of the department;

- implementing operational control over the course of the educational process and students' academic performance;

- organizing students' social life, holding meetings and personal conversations with students;

- involving students in conferences, competitions;

- visiting thematic exhibitions;

- conducting preventive work with students on criminal liability for carrying and using and a complete ban on bringing cold, pneumatic weapons onto the university premises; - providing the necessary assistance in organizing the life and leisure of students.
