Department of Economic Specialties
Over the past four years, the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of KazNPU named after Abai has been organizing and holding an annual scientific conference of students and young scientists. This event has already established itself as a discussion platform not only in Kazakhstan, but also in neighboring and distant countries. In addition, students of the institute participate in Olympiads and projects organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, round tables and other scientific events with international participation, where they win prizes.
The results of scientific and scientific-methodical activities of teachers are embodied in monographs, textbooks and teaching aids, methodological developments. Based on the results of scientific research, the Institute's teaching staff published 101 articles, including 16 in publications with an impact factor, 21 in publications abroad, 16 in neighboring countries, 14 in journals of the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 41 in publications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 12 in the materials of scientific conferences. In addition, three monographs and 14 textbooks were published.
The scientific school of the Department of Economic Specialties of the Institute of Economics is the basis for the formation of the all-Kazakhstan school of economics. The department has a scientific seminar under the guidance of senior lecturer A.T. Isayeva, where current problems of the national economy are constantly considered. All teachers of the department are actively conducting research work, the results of which are covered in publications included in the indexing system, such as Web of Science, Scopus, recommended by the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Russian Science Citation Index and the Kazakh Science Citation Index.
29.02. 2024. The team of the specialty "Marketing" was awarded the 3rd degree Diploma in the 3rd International Marketing Tournament for students of universities and colleges "USkills-up Marketing Battle".
10.04.2024. Round table on the topic "Can artificial intelligence in marketing become a new concept and business opportunity to improve the efficiency of companies?" for students of the Department of Economic Specialties of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute
April 18, 2024, at Al-Farabi KazNU, Intellectual game "Millionaire Alany". Our students were awarded the 2nd degree Diploma.
24.04.2024. Our students participated in the XVI Republican Student Subject Olympiad at Al-Farabi KazNU.
05/06/2024, 3rd year students of the Management specialty took 3rd place in the XVI Republican student subject Olympiad in OP 6B04102 Management at the Sagadiev University of International Business (UAB).
