The International Center for Source Studies “Heritage of Eastern Manuscripts” is dedicated to the collection, preservation, research, and digitization of Eastern manuscripts and rare historical documents. Its mission is to safeguard cultural and intellectual heritage, introduce valuable historical sources into academic circulation, and ensure their accessibility for future generations.

The Center conducts scholarly cataloging, transcription, translation, and source-critical analysis of manuscript materials. Special attention is given to identifying and studying unique written monuments that reflect the history, culture, religion, and intellectual traditions of Eastern civilizations.

By employing modern digital technologies, the Center develops electronic archives and specialized databases, creates high-quality digital copies of manuscripts, and expands access to documentary heritage through digital platforms. These efforts contribute to the long-term preservation of valuable sources and support international research activities.

The Center also promotes cooperation with national and international academic institutions through joint research projects, conferences, workshops, training programs, and scholarly publications. Through these activities, it contributes to the advancement of source studies, manuscript studies, Oriental studies, and the broader field of humanities research.
