Research Laboratory “Pedagogical Measurements”

      Within the framework of the research project IRN AP19680029 “Theory and Technology of Comprehensive Psychological and Pedagogical Assessment of the Developmental Potential of the School Educational Environment Using International SACERS Scales (modified version).”

      Laboratory Branch:
In 2024, a branch of the laboratory was opened at Abykhan Zheksembekov Secondary School in the town of Turgen, Enbekshikazakh District, Almaty Region.

     Purpose, Objectives, and Functions of the Laboratory

Purpose:
The main purpose of establishing the “Pedagogical Measurements” laboratory is to promote the development of Master’s and doctoral research, as well as graduation projects within the group of educational programs “Pedagogy and Psychology.”

The laboratory may collaborate with schools and other external educational organizations in implementing university research projects, as well as conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at improving the educational programs included in the “Pedagogy and Psychology” program group.

                                        Objectives of the Laboratory:

• to conduct research in the fields of psychology and pedagogy, pedagogical measurements, and educational management, including within the framework of the research project IRN AP19680029 “Theory and Technology of Comprehensive Psychological and Pedagogical Assessment of the Developmental Potential of the School Educational Environment Based on the Application of International SAKERS Scales (modified version)”;
• to conduct research within Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs in “Pedagogy and Psychology”;
• to organize seminars aimed at developing cooperation between the university, the department, school organizations, and development centers.
