On April 10, the final conference of 4th year students on the topic "From theory to practice: the results of pedagogical practice of future teachers" was held at Abai University. The event summed up an important stage in the training of future teachers, determined the continuity of theoretical knowledge and school experience.

The conference was attended by graduate students, teachers and school principals, heads of production practices and teaching staff. The analysis of the results of many years of teaching experience implemented in the 2025-2026 academic year was carried out, the issues of assessing the professional competence of students and strengthening the partnership between the university and the school were raised.

This year, 2,561 students of Abai KazNPU passed the pedagogical internship. works in 94 educational organizations in Almaty. During the internship of graduate students, which lasted 22 weeks, 2,215 students studied at schools and actively participated in the educational process. Of these, 95 students completed internships in 17 schools in Astana, 1,535 students in 91 educational institutions in Almaty.

During the internship, students conducted 8,860 open lessons, improved their skills in preparing a lesson plan, applying teaching methods and conducting an assessment system. Long-term experience has allowed us to develop pedagogical skills and professional adaptation of future specialists.

This practice has also been highly appreciated by schools. The students have mastered the methodology of step-by-step teaching and have fully mastered such important skills as composing SAS and SAQ. There were 1,079 experienced teachers among the heads of the practice. These are specialists in the categories of teacher-researcher, teacher-master, teacher-expert and teacher-moderator. More than 5,000 open lessons have been conducted under their guidance.

In addition, 139 graduates were employed under the dual education system, and 446 students completed an internship based on a letter of inquiry. This proves the strong bond between the university and employers.

During the conference, university teachers, school principals and students shared their practice results and discussed current issues of teacher training. At the end of the event, the best practice managers were awarded and letters of thanks were given to educational organizations that work closely with the university. This year's teaching experience was assessed as an important stage in improving the professional competence of future teachers and adapting them to the labor market.
