THE “BEST STUDENT – 2026” COMPETITION HAS REACHED ITS FINALE

The final stage of the traditional “Best Student – 2026” competition was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai University. For five consecutive years, this project has been consistently organized, serving as a meaningful platform that evaluates knowledge, competence, dedication, and talent.

This year, 11 students advanced to the final round, distinguished by high academic performance and active participation in social and community activities. Participants aimed to demonstrate not only their knowledge, but also their intellectual breadth, leadership qualities, and creative potential.

At the ceremonial event, Director of the Department of Science Marfuga Absatova and Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Zhanna Zhusupova wished the participants success and emphasized the importance of the competition.

The competition consisted of three interconnected stages. The first stage, “I’m the Best,” was a self-presentation round in which participants introduced themselves comprehensively and shared their life principles and goals. Each student sought to express their individuality through stage presence and public speaking skills.

The second stage involved the defense of original projects. During this stage, participants addressed актуal issues in the fields of pedagogy and psychology and proposed practical solutions. Topics such as personal anxiety, students’ psychological stress, inclusive and special education, and health-related research were widely covered. Participants effectively utilized modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, and defended their projects on a scientific basis.

The deciding stage was the intellectual contest “Do You Know?”. This segment tested participants’ knowledge levels and speed of thinking. The questions covered the university’s history, the field of pedagogy, national values, the legacy of Ybyrai Altynsarin, and the 35th anniversary of Independence.

According to the jury’s decision, the prize-winning places were awarded as follows:
1st place – Dinara Yersinovna Muslyumkanova;
2nd place – Balnur Oralovna Baratova;
3rd place – Dinmukhammed Ayazbayevich Satymov.

The winners were awarded special diplomas and monetary prizes.

The results of all stages clearly demonstrated not only the students’ level of knowledge and intellectual potential, but also their civic stance, creative pursuit, and professional readiness.
