Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted an informational session on the mandatory three-year employment obligation for graduating students. The event was attended by 4th-year bachelor’s students, 2nd-year master’s students, and 3rd-year doctoral students.

The main objective of the session was to clarify the legal requirements for mandatory employment of graduates who studied under the state educational grant, as well as to provide comprehensive information on recent amendments and updates to the relevant regulations.

The session was organized to explain the amendments introduced by Order No. 485 dated October 20, 2025, to Order No. 483 dated August 11, 2023, issued by the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the session, participants received detailed information on:

• mandatory employment requirements;
• procedures and timelines for job placement;
• recent legislative updates;
• conditions for exemption or deferment;
• rights and responsibilities of graduates.

Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers.

The session featured Akzira Serikkalikyzy, Leading Specialist, and Maria Baiserkeşova, Manager at JSC “Financial Center,” who provided a detailed overview of the legal and organizational aspects of the employment obligation process.

The event was held on April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM via the Zoom platform in an online format.
