WINNERS OF THE “BEST STUDENT SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION” COMPETITION ANNOUNCED

8 april, within the framework of the “Science Decade,” the “Best Student Scientific Organization” competition was held. The competition is aimed at supporting students actively engaged in research activities within the university and enhancing their creative and intellectual potential.

The ceremonial event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ertai Sultan, who wished young researchers success and achievements in their scientific pursuits.

– First of all, I would like to thank you for your dedication to science starting from your student years. Research in the field of pedagogy requires deeper and more long-term study. Today, in order to become a future teacher, it is important to possess technological and scientific competencies. This competition is designed to develop these qualities in students, – noted the Vice-Rector.

The competition consisted of three interconnected stages. In the first stage, participants creatively presented their organizations, demonstrating their structure and achievements. In the second stage, they answered questions on academic writing, showcasing the depth of their knowledge and quick thinking. In the third stage, scientific publications and research works of the student organization members were presented, and their level of research activity was evaluated.

Student organizations from each faculty took part in the competition stages. Among them were “ZHERUIYQ”, “SPARKLE SCIENCE of chemistry,” and “Ayala” from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, as well as the volunteer club “Meirim” from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. According to the results, the “Sparkle Science of Chemistry” scientific organization won first place, the “Ayala” eco-club and “ZHERUIYQ” club took second place, and the “Meirim” volunteer club secured third place.

All participants and prize winners were awarded letters of appreciation from the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, along with diplomas and special prizes.
