As part of the “Decade of Science” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Academician Dosan Baymolda, an exhibition of scientific works titled “Research and Achievements in the Field of Education and Science” and a presentation of a new book were held. During the event, the scholar’s many years of scientific activity were widely showcased, and a biobibliographical index systematizing his scientific legacy was presented.

This publication is a continuation of the biobibliography series of scholars of Abai KazNPU. The index includes information about the scholar’s biography, his scientific, pedagogical, and public activities, as well as a list of his published works and literature about him. The list of publications is arranged chronologically and includes books in Kazakh, Russian, and English. For readers’ convenience, the edition also contains an alphabetical index of publications, a list of co-authors, and abbreviations.

At the opening ceremony, the Head of the Department of Physics, Vladimir Kosov, delivered a speech, highlighting Dosan Baymolda’s contribution to the development of the university. He emphasized that the scholar’s scientific and pedagogical activities significantly enhanced the institution’s reputation. Professor of the Faculty of Philology Baltabay Abdygaziev and Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of Physics Marat Kulbekuly also spoke, highly appreciating the юбилее’s dedicated work in science and education and expressing their best wishes.

Dosan Baymolda is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics, an academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan, and a professor at Abai University. He was born on April 26, 1956, in the city of Ölgii, Bayan-Ölgii aimag, Mongolia. His specialties are physics and political science.

Throughout his career, the scholar worked for many years at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and at the international radio station “Azattyk.” Currently, he teaches at the university’s Department of Physics and contributes to the training of young scientists. Dosan Baymolda is the author of 26 books and more than 250 scientific articles. His works have been published both in Kazakhstan and in international scientific journals.

The exhibition of scientific works held as part of the anniversary was recognized not only as a promotion of the scholar’s achievements but also as an instructive event serving as an example for young researchers.
