MEMORANDUM SIGNED WITH REGIONAL SCHOOLS

Today, within the framework of the Science Decade, a memorandum was signed at Abai University with schools from the Almaty and Turkistan regions. The cooperation agreement will contribute to improving students’ practical skills and enhancing the quality of the education system.

During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Banu Narbekova, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the university and schools, highlighting issues related to education quality and joint scientific research. Several proposals aimed at developing the field of pedagogy were also presented.

The bilateral agreement was signed with the participation of Dilshad Nurzhanova, Director of D. Kunaev Secondary School, Dilmurat Blalov, Director of Kalzhat Secondary School, and Kamar Dzhamalbekova, Director of Taukehan General Education School. They shared their perspectives on developing partnership and expressed gratitude to Abai University.

As a pedagogical higher education institution, the university trains specialists, most of whom go on to work in schools. Therefore, special emphasis is placed on developing students’ practical skills during the educational process. The adaptation of future teachers to the school environment and the development of their professional competencies are considered key priorities.

Abai University, as a training ground for teachers, has prepared nearly 250,000 педагогical specialists over its almost century-long history. Therefore, it consistently aims to integrate theory with practice in teacher education. Today, along with deepening theoretical knowledge, special attention is given to the practical training of future educators. The memorandum signed today will undoubtedly contribute to the training of competitive, highly qualified teachers who meet modern requirements.
