At Abai University, the "Altyn Saqa" student week, aimed at promoting the national spirit and enhancing the creative potential of students, is in full swing. As part of the week's program, thrilling competitions in volleyball and football were held today. Teams from all faculties, along with students who traveled specifically from the Institute of Education in Astana, participated in this event, showcasing the unity and vibrant energy of the youth.

At the opening of the sports competition, Maksat Zhakau, Vice-Rector for Social Development of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, delivered a welcoming speech and emphasized the significance of the event. "Effectively organizing students' extracurricular time and fostering their well-rounded development is one of our key priorities. The goal of this competition is not only to identify winners but also to encourage young people to harmonize their physical and spiritual well-being. I wish all the participants the best of luck!" said the Vice-Rector.

The competitions promoting a healthy lifestyle took place across two venues. Volleyball matches were held in the indoor sports complex, testing team agility, while the football competition at the M. Auezov Stadium turned into an intense battle for supremacy. The best players, carefully selected to represent their respective faculties, took to the field supported by the enthusiastic cheers of fans. Furthermore, the students from Astana demonstrated a high level of preparation and skill to their Almaty peers.

By the end of the action-packed day, the winners were determined, and the bonds of friendship among students grew even stronger. Winners and prize-winners were awarded special cash prizes and certificates of achievement.

• 3rd Place: "Sorbonne-Kazakhstan" Institute.
