MEMORANDUM SIGNED WITH "YESIK" MUSEUM-RESERVE

A memorandum of mutual cooperation has been signed between Abai University and the "Yesik" State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum. The primary goal of the bilateral agreement is to strengthen ties in the fields of scientific research, education, and tourism, as well as to enhance the professional skills of students and young scholars from the Faculty of History.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board-Rector of KazPU named after Abai, Bolat Anapiyuly, and the Director of the "Yesik" Museum-Reserve, Azimbek Serikuly, discussed future plans within the framework of the memorandum. The parties agreed to conduct comprehensive work on researching the historical features of the "Yesik" complex, organizing joint scientific projects and archaeological expeditions, and facilitating the exchange of experience among specialists. Furthermore, the organization of special lectures, seminars-trainings, and exhibitions on historical themes was also considered.

This partnership is expected to provide a new impetus for the development of cultural-educational and ecological tourism. The development of tourist routes and informational-educational materials in collaboration with history students, as well as the preparation of scientific articles and methodological guides, have been identified as important areas of cooperation. Bolat Anapiyuly, in turn, expressed interest in organizing joint events for significant dates and in staff professional development programs.

This cooperation will provide history and law students with the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, specifically by undergoing production internships at the "Yesik" State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and participating directly in field research.

Establishing a partnership with this sacred site, founded as part of the national strategic project "Madenı mұra" (Cultural Heritage), where the famous "Golden Man" was found, will undoubtedly be a necessary step not only for enhancing the university's scientific potential but also for training qualified personnel.
