DAY OF PURIFICATION – A REFLECTION OF SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

As part of the "Nauryznama" decameron, March 23rd is celebrated as the Day of Purification. This day is a significant initiative aimed at the spiritual renewal of individuals. The core principles of the "Day of Purification" are the protection of nature, the cleansing of one's inner world, and the embrace of new beginnings.

Today, environmental issues are a pressing global concern. Pollution of the environment, climate change, and the increase in household waste are common problems for all of humanity. In this regard, the "Day of Purification" stands out as an important day that calls for the formation of ecological consciousness and care for nature. For those who understand, the main tenets of purification in spring include tidying up one's surroundings and home, clearing springs, spiritually forgiving grudges and sins.

In all regions of Kazakhstan, on this day, clean-up drives are organized, and good deeds such as planting trees, landscaping areas, and waste sorting are carried out. This is not a one-day campaign, but rather systematic work aimed at fostering the ecological culture of the people.

Within the walls of Abai University, the "Day of Purification" is celebrated meaningfully every year. The university staff and students approach this day with special responsibility, conducting cleaning activities on the university grounds and actively participating in landscaping efforts.

It is worth noting that this initiative is not limited to March 23rd. Within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" project, clean-up drives are organized throughout the year at the university, and various activities aimed at fostering ecological culture are systematically held. Student youth and faculty regularly engage in campaigns to clean up urban areas, plant trees, and protect nature, setting an example for society.

The "Day of Purification" encompasses not only external cleanliness but also internal spiritual renewal. This day calls people to reflect on the past, set new goals, and embrace forgiveness and harmony. Spiritual purity is a value that forms the basis for the development of not only an individual but also the entire society.

Overall, the "Day of Purification" is a significant initiative that reflects the harmony between ecological culture and spiritual renewal. If every citizen deeply understands the meaning of this day and contributes their share, the future of our country will undoubtedly be brighter, cleaner, and spiritually richer.
