On the eve of March 8 – International Women’s Day, a group of members of the teaching and professorial staff of Abai University received departmental awards from the Trade Union organization. They were presented with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation for their significant contributions to the work of the sectoral trade union.

The Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science and Higher Education Workers of Kazakhstan traditionally supports its members and highly appreciates their work during state and national holidays. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, it once again did not overlook a number of employees who have contributed to trade union activities.

On behalf of the university administration, today’s meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Yertay Sultan, who conveyed his warm wishes.

– A woman is the pillar of life. The Kazakh people have a saying: “A woman rocks the cradle with one hand and the world with the other.” Indeed, it is women who make life beautiful and bring the spirit of spring. Today, women successfully work in society, politics, science, and many other fields. The women of Abai University also make an immeasurable contribution to the development of the university. I would like to express my special gratitude and appreciation to all of you, – said the Vice-Rector.

The Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of Abai University, Mukhtar Ibraimov, thanked the active members of the teaching and professorial staff and expressed his festive greetings. He especially noted the work of colleagues who actively participate in trade union activities.

– Dear women, I congratulate all of you on the upcoming International Women’s Day! Each of you makes a significant contribution to the successful work of our university and to the unity of the team. Therefore, I wish all of you good health, well-being in your families, and creative success, – said Mukhtar Botabayevich.

During the event, 70 employees who contributed to the development of the Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science and Higher Education Workers of Kazakhstan were presented with Certificates of Honor, Letters of Appreciation, and bouquets of flowers.
