Opening of the “Psychology IP” Club and Team-Building Training
On March 2, 2026, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, as part of its efforts to develop professional competencies for students majoring in pedagogy and psychology, opened the "Psychology IP" student club and held its first interactive training, "The Team Starts with Me." The event focused on developing skills for collaboration, trust, and effective interaction in the educational environment.
The training was implemented in a
multilingual environment, reflecting contemporary educational requirements for
intercultural and communicative competence.
Theoretical
Framework
The training design was grounded in major
psychological approaches to group functioning, emphasizing group dynamics, observational
learning, emotional regulation, and developmental stages of team formation.
Psychological
Outcomes
Participation facilitated:
• development of group identity,
• enhancement of interpersonal trust,
• reflective awareness,
• collaborative decision-making skills,
• emotional regulation in group contexts.
Professional
Significance
For future educational psychologists, teamwork
competence is a core professional skill. It supports:
• psychological safety in educational
environments,
• effective cooperation with teachers and
students,
• prevention of social isolation,
• formation of supportive learning communities.
The newly established club provides a platform
for academic engagement, research initiatives, and professional identity
development.
The training demonstrated that a team emerges
through shared experience, communication, and collective responsibility.
Experiential learning allowed participants to observe real-time processes of
group development and interpersonal interaction.
