On February 27, 2026, Zh. Orymbekova, a fourth-year student of the Kazakh Language and Literature program at the Faculty of Philology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, conducted an open lesson as part of her teaching practicum.

The lesson was held in Grade 10 “B” at Gymnasium No. 168 named after Kassyl Katykbayev in the Medeu district of Almaty. The topic of the lesson was “Architecture: Stylistic Features.”

The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Social Development M. Zhakauov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board – Rector for Academic Affairs H. Zhanbekov, and Head of the Career Center R. Zhetibay.

The trainee demonstrated strong theoretical knowledge and delivered the material in a structured and engaging manner. Modern pedagogical approaches were effectively applied, ensuring active student participation.

The open lesson was conducted at a high methodological level with strong support from the staff of Gymnasium No. 168.
