SPORTS EVENT KIND CORNHOLE HELD DURING DECADE OF KINDNESS

A special sporting event filled with warmth and positive spirit was held as part of the “Decade of Kindness.” A cornhole tournament organized for people with disabilities created a truly festive and uplifting atmosphere for the participants.

The event was jointly organized by the ERZI Rehabilitation Center and the Almaty Sports Club for People with Disabilities. Their collaboration served as a vivid example of compassion, support, and social commitment. The competition was not only an athletic contest but also a meaningful social initiative aimed at fostering mutual respect and positive interaction between student volunteers and participants.

The primary goal of the tournament was to increase interest in sports and physical activity among people with disabilities, encourage an active lifestyle, and give each participant the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. Competitors with musculoskeletal impairments took part in a specially adapted format according to their classification categories, showcasing impressive skill and determination.

An experienced panel of judges ensured the fairness and high standard of the competition, determining the winners among men and women in individual standings. The participants’ determination and athletic performance in the “Kind Cornhole” tournament deeply impressed the audience.
