«SCIENTIST’S HERITAGE – DIGITAL KAZAKH LANGUAGE»

Dear students and young educators!

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the scientist S. Rakhmetova, who made a significant contribution to the methodology of teaching the Kazakh language in primary education, we invite you to participate in the methodological STARTUP competition held
from February 20 to March 1, 2026.

During the competition, participants will integrate the scientist’s methodological ideas with modern digital educational technologies and develop practical educational products.

 Purpose of the competition

To modernize the scientist’s methodological heritage and develop effective models for its implementation in a digital learning environment.

 Participants

• primary school teachers
• pedagogy students
• master’s degree students

 Participation format: team-based (2–4 members)

 Competition tasks

Each team develops three educational products:

I. Author’s mini-textbook

Purpose: develop a short teaching material based on the scientist’s methodology
Volume: 15–20 pages
Format: PDF / Canva booklet / interactive book

II. Digital task bank

Purpose: create a collection of interactive exercises for primary school students

Requirements: at least 15 tasks, each task must include:

•         instructions

•         correct answer

•         assessment criteria

•  feedback

Platforms:
LearningApps / Wordwall / Quizizz / Genially / Liveworksheets

III. Mobile application prototype

Purpose: present a mobile learning idea for teaching the Kazakh language

Presentation format:
Figma / Canva / PowerPoint mockup

Required sections:

Nominations and Awards

• Best Mini-Textbook
• Best Digital Task Bank
• Best Mobile Application Idea

Prize fund:
• 1st place — 30,000 KZT
• 2nd place — 20,000 KZT
• 3rd place — 10,000 KZT

The defense of конкурс submissions will take place on March 2, 2026 at 14:00.
