Chairman of the Board-Rector of KazNPU named after Abaya Bolat Tilep received the official delegation of the French University of Reims Champagne-Ardennes today. The sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation and develop international partnership.

The French delegation included Frederic Castel, Deputy Director for International Relations at the INSPE Institute of the Reims Academy, and Sophie Urden, professor at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardennes.

Having received the guests, the Chairman of the Management Board is the rector of KazNPU named after Abaya Bolat Tlep expressed interest in ensuring that cooperation with leading universities in France would give a strategic impetus to the work of the first Kazakh University and reach a new level in the exchange of educational and scientific experience.

Ainur Sabitova, Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai University, and Agnes Busse, coordinator for double-degree programs at the French Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, also took part in the bilateral meeting.

At the bilateral meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the field of teacher training, the development of joint educational programs in the French language, and the intensification of student and teacher exchange within the framework of academic mobility. The parties also drew attention to the directions of implementing joint projects at the international level, continuing the practice of exchanging delegations and improving double-degree education programs.

The participants expressed their intention to strengthen the partnership at the institutional level and systematically develop the exchange of experience. Following the meeting, the parties came to a common agreement on further deepening international relations and bringing the strategic partnership to a new level.
