Today, Abai University held a diploma awarding ceremony for master’s degree graduates in physics and mathematics. By decision of the Attestation Commission of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, 22 graduates who successfully defended their research projects were awarded the degree of Master of Science.

The ceremonial event was attended by the university and faculty leadership, who congratulated the young specialists on taking their first steps on the path of science. They expressed confidence that the graduates would become highly qualified professionals contributing to the development of science and education and wished them success in their future careers. During the event, several graduates distinguished by outstanding research achievements were presented with letters of appreciation.

The graduates studied under the educational programs “7M05302 – Physics,” “7M05401 – Mathematics,” and “7M01504 – Physics.” As part of their studies, they conducted research in the areas of training teachers in natural sciences, physical and chemical sciences, mathematics, and statistics. The master’s theses focused on pressing issues of modern science and the education system, the introduction of innovative technologies, the application of digital solutions, and the development of interdisciplinary approaches.

It should be noted that the university places special emphasis on research activities, international cooperation, and the development of innovative projects. This, in turn, enhances the potential of young scientists and contributes to the formation of a new generation of national science.

Currently, Abai University has become a leading center for training highly qualified academic and pedagogical specialists. In the field of postgraduate education, 1,609 researchers are enrolled in master’s programs, and 531 in doctoral programs.

This demonstrates the university’s strong scientific potential. In the future, priority will be given to the training of scientific personnel, as the university’s mission includes transforming into a research university by 2029.
