Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai announces a competition for vacancies in the postdoctoral program. Young scientists who are residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, aged up to 40 years (inclusive), actively engaged in scientific activities and the development of priority and new scientific areas can be admitted to postdoctoral studies.

An applicant for a postdoctoral program must meet the requirements presented in the Regulations on postdoctoral studies.

An application for participation in the competition includes:

• Application for participation in the competition (Appendix 1);
• A copy of an identity card;
• A resume / CV;
• A copy of a PhD diploma;
• A plan for scientific research of the applicant during the postdoctoral period (Research Proposal) (priority is given to research activities in pedagogical and interdisciplinary areas);
• A list of scientific papers and patents for inventions;
• portfolio with supporting documents of the above requirements for applicants (reprints of publications, citation index of publications in Scopus and WoS databases, certificates and patents, copy of work book);
• 2 (two) letters of recommendation and / or 2 (two) characteristics from previous places of work;
• supporting documents of achievements in the field of science and education over the past 5 (five) years (winner of the Bolashak scholarship, winner of the state scientific scholarship, winner of the scientific scholarship for talented young scientists, winner of the title of "Best Scientist", winner of the title of "Best University Teacher" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leadership and participation in scientific projects of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leadership and participation in international scientific projects, experience of scientific leadership, etc.).
