KazNPU named after Abai announces a competition for a vacant position of a full-time research professor to conduct teaching and research activities. An applicant for the position of a research professor must meet the following requirements, presented in the Regulations on the position of a research professor.

An application for participation in the competition includes:

• Application for participation in the competition;
• A copy of an identity card;
• A resume / CV;
• Documents confirming the receipt of an academic degree, assignment of an academic title;
• A plan for scientific research of the applicant (Research Proposal), the priority is scientific research activities in pedagogical and interdisciplinary areas;
• A list of scientific papers for the last 5 (five) years;
• Documents confirming the management and participation in scientific projects of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, management and participation in international scientific projects (a screenshot from the NCSSTE system, an agreement with an international organization);
• portfolio with supporting documents of the above requirements for applicants (reprints of publications and chapters of the monograph, citation index of publications in Scopus and WoS databases, copy of the work record book);
• letter of recommendation or characteristics from previous places of work;
• achievements in the field of science and education over the past 5 (five) years with supporting documents (winner of the Bolashak scholarship, the title of "Best Researcher", the title of "Best University Teacher" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experience in scientific management, patents for inventions, certificates, etc.).

Competitive applications are submitted to the Department of Science of Abai KazNPU until May 5, 2025 (inclusive) at the address: Almaty, Kazybek bi street, 30, office No. 203a.
