The international ranking agency «QS Quacquarelli Symonds» announced the 2027 rankings on 3 November in London. This year's assessment covered more than 1,700 higher education institutions from 26 countries and territories across Asia. Against the backdrop of growing participation and intensifying international competition, Abai University's strong performance demonstrates the effectiveness of its institutional development strategy and its increasing recognition in the global higher education landscape.
This year, the University's most notable progress was recorded in the «International Students» indicator. It also highlights the positive outcomes of the University's initiatives to increase international student enrolment, expand its network of international partnerships, promote academic mobility and further internationalise the learning process.
The «QS Asia University Rankings» assesses higher education institutions based on several key indicators. These include academic reputation and employer reputation, citations of research publications, research productivity, faculty-to-student ratio, international research collaboration and the proportion of international students. Together, these indicators provide a comprehensive assessment of an institution's educational quality and its influence within the global academic community.
