Today, Bolat Tilep, Chairman of the Board–Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, met with the staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography. The meeting was attended by the faculty’s academic and teaching staff, as well as administrative employees, who engaged in an open and constructive dialogue with the university leadership through an open-microphone session. Key issues related to the university’s development strategy, infrastructure, and improving the quality of academic education were discussed.

The meeting, held in an informal and open format, aimed to foster transparent dialogue between the university leadership and its staff. During the discussion, participants addressed the university’s strategic objectives and important initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education. In particular, they discussed the construction of an artificial rock-climbing facility for Olympic sports, expanding opportunities for professional internships at foreign universities, and strengthening campus security measures. Bolat Anapiyauly, Chairman of the Board–Rector, provided clear and comprehensive answers to each question and suggestion and assigned relevant tasks to the responsible university departments.

The meeting is expected to make a significant contribution to the university’s development, the achievement of its strategic goals, and the identification of priority objectives. Creating a comfortable working environment for employees and addressing outstanding issues will undoubtedly contribute to greater job satisfaction and motivation. In this regard, the Chairman of the Board–Rector responded to questions from lecturers and professors and listened to their suggestions and feedback on further improving the university’s operations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Bolat Anapiyauly thanked the staff for their active participation and emphasized that every issue raised would receive due attention. He also noted that such open meetings would continue to be held regularly, further strengthening the principles of transparency and openness in university governance.

It should be noted that Abai University places particular emphasis on maintaining open dialogue between the university administration, employees, and students. Suggestions and requests from students aimed at the university’s development are always given due consideration. The Rector’s meetings with staff members of other faculties are also scheduled to continue in the coming days.
