Aizhan Amangeldikyzy, Member of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighted the importance of the digital economy, noting that digitalization is not merely a technological innovation but also an important tool for shaping labour relations and the employment structure.

“As the President emphasized, the internet should serve not only as a means of consumption for the general public but also as a tool for ensuring transparency in the economic and governance systems. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to develop a digital economy and establish an accessible system for everyone by opening Digital Qazaqstan centres across all regions. Environmental issues were also highlighted, especially the need for the efficient use of water resources. It is important to restrict the use of drinking water for industrial purposes and expand the use of technical and recycled water. This initiative will undoubtedly help foster a culture of water conservation and strengthen responsibility for our natural resources,” the MP noted.

During the meeting, Kaiyrkhan Serikuly, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, raised the issue of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the energy sector. According to the Vice Minister, the effective use of modern digital solutions and artificial intelligence capabilities will help improve the performance of the energy system, optimize production processes and accelerate the development of the sector.

According to statistics, Kazakhstan’s energy system currently comprises 254 power generation facilities. Last year, the country's electricity generation reached a historic high, exceeding 123.1 billion kilowatt-hours. The expansion of domestic enterprises and the rapid pace of residential construction are driving up demand for electricity.
