During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Almaty City Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, the Almaty City Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Abai University.

The main objective of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation in the field of public service, improve young people's legal literacy, and foster students' understanding of the principles and values of public service. The document is intended to increase young people's interest in public service and help them identify their professional career paths at an early stage.

The meeting was attended by Ainur Idirosova, Director of the Almaty City Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Shynarai Alimkhankyzy, Deputy Head of the Almaty City Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs. Abai University was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova and Vice-Rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakau.

As part of the agreement, the parties plan to organize activities aimed at establishing a School of Civil Servants. In particular, they intend to hold open lectures, training sessions, practical classes, conferences, and forums featuring recipients of the Best Civil Servant and Veteran of Public Service awards, as well as members of the University's Mentorship Council.

Special emphasis will also be placed on familiarizing students with recruitment procedures for public service, candidate eligibility requirements, and opportunities for professional development. Key areas of the partnership will include internships, participation in project-based activities, and applied research to enhance the practical skills of future professionals.

The parties agreed to jointly implement socially significant and public-interest projects aimed at promoting transparency in education and public administration. The agreement will expand students' professional opportunities, deepen their understanding of the public administration system, and strengthen their sense of civic responsibility. It is expected to help attract qualified young professionals with strong professional training to the public service sector.
