Today, Abai University held a career guidance meeting for school students. More than 180 students from Zerdeli UBT School visited the university to learn about its educational system and receive advice from experienced university staff.

The main objective of the meeting was to guide students in making informed decisions about their future careers and help them identify professional paths that align with their interests and abilities.

Choosing a profession before graduating from school is one of the most important decisions in a person's life, as it builds confidence in the future and opens up opportunities for professional development. Career guidance sessions like this help students broaden their knowledge of different professions, approach their choices responsibly, and define their future goals. Young people strive to pursue studies in fields that match their abilities and interests. In this regard, getting acquainted with various higher education institutions, learning about opportunities to secure government-funded scholarships, and exploring available benefits and discounts for fee-paying students are among the key priorities.

The meeting was led by Almas Naimanbayev, Director of the Department of Career Guidance and Career Development. Information sessions covered a variety of topics, while qualified lecturers and deputy deans answered students' questions. In particular, they explained changes to the minimum admission scores required for university entry and presented a list of in-demand professions.

One of the students who actively participated in the event was Alinur Omirbek. Expressing his impressions, he noted that the university offers numerous opportunities and did not hide his admiration.

“I am glad to have attended today's meeting at this educational institution. I can say that I received all the information I needed. Studying at Abai University seems very appealing to me. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the university offers not only teacher training programs but also numerous opportunities for young people to discover and develop their abilities and talents,” said the aspiring student.
