Ahead of Republic Day, a group of Abai University employees received letters of appreciation from the Chair of the Almaty City Branch of the Adilet Party. The awards recognised their active engagement in community affairs and their contribution to the implementation of socially significant initiatives.

The event was attended by Maksat Zhakauov, Vice-Rector for Social Development at Abai University, and Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, Head of the Alumni Association and Deputy Chair of the Higher Education Primary Party Organisation. The conference was opened and chaired by Yerzhan Medeuov, Chair of the Medeu District Branch of the Adilet Party. Aidar Kuntubai, Chair of the Almaty City Branch of the Zhastar Rukhy Youth Wing, also addressed the gathering.

During the event, university employees received letters of appreciation on behalf of Stanislav Kankurov, Chair of the Almaty City Branch of the Adilet Party, in recognition of their active participation in community affairs, support for the party’s activities, and contribution to the implementation of public initiatives.

The recipients included Kazyna Bekbenbetova, Deputy Head of the Rector’s Office; Raushan Kanapyanova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, and member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Designers’ Union; Gulzhan Iskakova, Head of Dormitory No. 1; Tolkyn Sagymbayeva, Senior Expert Manager at the Academic Library; Akbota Yerbolkyzy, Senior Specialist at the Alumni Association; Sultan Bodan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Social and Educational Affairs; Yelmurat Kurmangali, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology for Social and Educational Affairs; Omirzak Mussilim, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics for Social and Educational Affairs; Ayazhan Keneskhan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology for International Cooperation and Social Affairs; Akylbek Baimakhanov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Basic Military Training for Social and Educational Affairs; Magzhan Zhumagulov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages for International Cooperation and Social Affairs; Serik Bakirov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography for Educational Affairs; and Medet Azanbayev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History and Law for Social and Educational Affairs.

The award ceremony was held as part of the Second Extraordinary Conference of the Medeu District Branch of the Adilet Party. The conference agenda included the election of members to the branch’s Political Council and the selection of delegates to the party’s city conference.
