A psychological training session on “Creating a safe and supportive student environment” was held

On October 19, 2026, the Psychological Support Service conducted a psychological training session entitled “Creating a safe and supportive student environment” aimed at preventing bullying among students and fostering a culture of mutual respect.

The main objective of the event was to broaden students’ understanding of bullying, help them recognize its psychological consequences, and develop skills in mutual respect, responsibility, and peer support.

During the training, participants learned about the key signs of bullying, its various forms, and its impact on students’ emotional well-being. Through practical exercises and situational analysis, students learned to distinguish between conflict and bullying and explored appropriate ways to respond to such situations.

In addition, participants discussed the importance of mutual understanding, respecting personal boundaries, and supporting individuals facing difficult circumstances. The training encouraged students to reflect on how their actions affect others, recognize their responsibility in interpersonal relationships, and understand the importance of their individual contributions to creating a psychologically safe environment.

Approximately 30 students from the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence participated in the training.
