A seminar on the practical application of artificial intelligence tools "ChatGPT Edu" and "Codex" was organized for the faculty members at Abai University. The purpose of the meeting was to enhance teachers' digital competence and effectively integrate modern technologies into the educational and research processes.

Abdulkarim Abdurakhmanuly, a digital pedagogy specialist, AI methodologist, and university alumnus, participated as the guest speaker. He explained the capabilities of these tools and how to use them effectively in daily work. Participants learned various techniques for correctly assigning tasks to AI, formulating clear prompts, and achieving desired results.

According to the speaker, pupils and students account for a significant share of AI tool users. A decline in usage was also observed after May, which correlates with students going on summer break. Experts emphasize that what matters most is not who uses the tool, but for what purpose and how competently it is applied.

During the seminar, special attention was paid to the educational capabilities of the "ChatGPT Edu" platform. Developed by OpenAI, this solution is tailored to the needs of higher education institutions and educational organizations. The platform assists in developing teaching materials, analyzing documents and texts, working with scientific information, and carrying out complex tasks. Its effective use enables teachers to streamline their work and save time spent on organizing the learning process.

Meanwhile, "Codex" is an AI tool designed to write, analyze, debug, and correct software code. It aims to simplify programming and technical tasks. The features of this tool are particularly beneficial when mastering digital technologies, developing software products, and working with technical assignments.

These technologies enable educators to prepare learning materials, construct assignments, process information, and optimize research activities. However, it is equally important to critically evaluate the information provided by artificial intelligence, verify its accuracy, and uphold academic integrity standards.

During the event, participants asked the speaker questions of interest and received clear answers. Through practical examples, they discussed the potential of artificial intelligence tools and explored ways to integrate them into their professional practice.
