Seasonal "Zhaidarman" games for the 2026–2027 academic year have kicked off at Abai University. The humor competition, aimed at developing students' creative potential, brought together the funniest and most resourceful young people from every faculty of the university. At the festival, 8 selected "Zhaidarman" teams competed for victory.

The main feature of the game lies in enhancing the exchange of experience between first-year students and seasoned players from republican and city-level teams. This is the primary goal of the humor evening: to identify and support young talents, as well as contribute to increasing the social activity of youth, strengthening team spirit, and deepening friendship and cooperation.

Stepping onto a large stage for the first time, young people can make their way into the world of "Zhaidarman" only by proving themselves to be the best through their talent. Therefore, they faced just one condition: to successfully pass the "Greeting" round, showcase quick wit, fine humor, modern trend expressions, and teamwork, in order to win the hearts of the jury members. The participating groups tried to skillfully introduce their faculties to the audience by performing jokes prepared for this competition.

The jury panel included Maksat Zhakauov, Vice-Rector for Social Development; Nurbolat Manapbayev, Director of the Department for Social and Youth Policy; and prominent representatives of "Zhaidarman" games - Medet Zhanabay, Manas Zharylkasyn, and Ardak Bekenov. They evaluated the teams' successful jokes and determined the best based on creativity, resourcefulness, stage culture, and experience in "Zhaidarman" games.

As a result of the competition, the top 6 teams received direct tickets to the next stage - the semi-finals. In addition, the jury suggested that the two teams eliminated from the game could form a single combined team from among their players and advance to the next stage via an additional ticket.

The traditional "Zhaidarman" opening season games are not just an evening of humor and entertainment, but a major platform of knowledge and art that unlocks students' creative potential and hones their leadership qualities. The performances of these young talents, combining stage culture and agile resourcefulness, clearly demonstrated the dynamic development of spiritual and cultural life within the university walls.
