On October 13, 2026, teacher educators from the Department of Theory and Methodology of Teaching the Kazakh Language at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University participated in a scientific and methodological event held at Secondary School No. 42 in the Ili District of Almaty Region as part of the project “A Lesson with a Scientist: University Research for School Students.” The event was attended by Botakoz Tleubekova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor; Erlan Qasen, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Teaching the Kazakh Language, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor; Shoqankhan Kuttybayev, Head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Methods of Teaching named after Academician S. Kirabayev; Raigul Rakhmetova, Professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Teaching the Kazakh Language and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences; Bidana Qabatai, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor; and Aizhan Yusup, PhD.

The participants shared innovative teaching methods and effective pedagogical practices. Raigul Rakhmetova, Professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Teaching the Kazakh Language and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, delivered a lesson to ninth-grade students, successfully integrating text-based learning with grammar instruction and demonstrating the potential of the 4Cs model. The lesson aimed to develop students’ research skills and critical thinking.
