On October 13, 2026, the Almaty Regional Methodological Center held a webinar entitled “Using International Reading Literacy Assessment Tasks in the Educational Process.”

During the webinar, Nagima Abzelbekovna Ilyasova, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Language, delivered a presentation entitled “Ways to Develop Students’ Functional Reading Literacy through PISA-Format Tasks.”

The webinar brought together teachers of the Kazakh language and literature, who exchanged views on current issues in Kazakh language teaching.
