International Scientific and Practical Conference “The State Language and a Model for Developing Linguistic Personality”
Dear
Colleagues!
The
Faculty of Philology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, under the
Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will
hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The State
Language and a Model for Developing Linguistic Personality” on 27
November 2026 at 10:00.
The
aim of the conference is to expand the use of the state language
and promote it among the general public, young researchers, and students;
support the development of their language knowledge and skills; integrate new
technologies and artificial intelligence into contemporary education; explore
new opportunities for teaching the state language based on national values; and
identify prospects for the development of the Kazakh language and linguistics,
drawing on the outcomes of the faculty’s scientific and practical activities.
Participants
will include leading national scholars, representatives of government
institutions, public figures, university lecturers, researchers from research
institutes, young scholars, schoolteachers, textbook authors, undergraduate
students, master’s students, and doctoral students.
Main
conference themes:

Scientific and methodological approaches to
expanding the use of the state language;

Digital language pedagogy: practices for
developing language skills through smart technologies;
-
Current issues in professionally oriented
Kazakh language teaching;
-
Models for developing functional literacy in
Kazakh language and literature classes;
-
New trends and technologies in teaching world
languages.
The conference will be held
in both in-person and online formats. The link for online participation will be
sent separately and published on the faculty’s social media pages.
Conference papers and
articles will be published in electronic proceedings. Research
submissions from young scholars must be accompanied by a review from their
academic supervisor. Complete electronic versions of conference papers and
articles must be submitted by 10 November 2026.
Article structure:
-
Article title, provided in Kazakh, Russian,
and English;
-
Author information: full name and institutional
affiliation (please provide the full name of the higher education institution),
followed by the city and country;
-
Abstracts in Kazakh, Russian, and English,
each comprising 100-150 words. Each abstract
should briefly describe the research aim, the scientific and practical
significance and value of the study, its methodology, principal findings, and
the practical implications of its conclusions;
-
Keywords in Kazakh, Russian, and English (5-6 words
in each language).

Articles must include the following sections:

Introduction;
-
Materials and Methods;
-
Literature Review;
-
Results and Discussion;
-
Conclusion;
-
References (provided in the language of the
article).
Article formatting
requirements:
Articles must be 5-10
pages long and prepared in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman, 14-point font,
and single line spacing. Page margins must be set as follows: top and bottom – 2
cm; right – 1.5 cm; left – 3
cm. Sources must be cited in the text using their reference numbers in square
brackets. Full bibliographic details must be provided in the reference list at
the end of the article. The working languages of
the conference are Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Note:
bold type and underlining are not permitted in articles. Italics may be used
for emphasis.
