At Abai University, the presentation of the 7th volume of the international exhibition collection "Babalar Amanat" ("Heritage of Ancestors"), dedicated to Shokan Ualikhanov and Abai Kunanbaiuly, took place. The works of members of the "Babalar Amanat" Kazakhstan Union of Ethnographic Design were published in the collection in five languages. Art historians, cultural figures, and students attended the noble event, which aimed to glorify national art and preserve historical and cultural heritage.

The "Babalar Amanat" exhibition collection is an international cultural and educational project aimed at supporting talented youth, education and culture professionals, and master artisans. The author of the project is Kanagat Kaliuly, a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Excellence in Education and Culture awardee, and the chairman of the "Babalar Amanat" Union of Ethnographic Design. Launched in 2024, the project has produced and released six collections to readers to date.

The seventh volume features creative works by arts and crafts teachers from various corners of the country, professional artists, and children. This collection is a meaningful work showcasing the artistic pursuits, interest in national art, and creative potential of different generations of society. Furthermore, the publication paves the way for the exchange of experience between art educators and professional artists, the integration of national values into the educational process, and the deeper reinforcement of the educational significance of art.

The ceremonial meeting was attended by the academic and teaching staff of Abai KazNPU, representatives of the intelligentsia, and prominent artists. During the event, students of the Faculty of Arts performed and presented their creative works in the field of ethnodesign to the public. Additionally, university instructors were awarded badges of the public association and conferred titles of Academicians of the National Academy of Design.

Abai University places special importance on instilling national culture in learners, harmoniously combining art and education, and shaping them as creative personalities. In this direction, the alma mater establishes partnerships with various creative organizations and public associations, constantly honing students' talents. The published exhibition collection is a meaningful work that enhances students' aesthetic taste and contributes to their professional development.
