Today, Abai University hosted a Student Organizations Fair. The university’s 49 student organizations presented their activities and invited first-year students to join their communities. More than 3,000 students who have recently entered the university had the opportunity to explore the organizations and register for those that matched their interests.

   Student organizations provide an important environment for students to actively engage in university life. They help young people develop their abilities, make new friends, and participate in various projects and events. In addition, student organizations contribute significantly to the development of campus life and support student initiatives.

   Abai University currently has 49 student organizations, including 27 creative organizations, 10 sports clubs, 4 theater groups, and 8 volunteer organizations. Working across various fields, these organizations help students discover their talents and support their personal and professional development. This is supported by the opinion of Nurdaulet Bakytuly, a second-year student at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.

   – I believe this is a great opportunity for first-year students of our faculty. While other organizations focus on areas such as singing, dancing, and the arts, «Білім Vector» places an emphasis on education and improving academic knowledge. Our main goal is to contribute to the training of qualified and active specialists in the field of primary education. For example, many students who joined the organization last year have developed various projects and published their articles in major publications, – says the active student.

   First-year student Aidana Myrzakhan, who explored various student organizations at the fair, said that she found a community that matched her interests. Although she is studying pedagogy, she is also passionate about the arts and considers creative activities one of her hobbies.

   – I study at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. I enjoy dancing, the arts, and playing musical instruments. I am particularly interested in acting, which I would like to pursue as a hobby. This fair helped me compare different student clubs and choose the one that best suited me. In particular, I had already seen the «Қағанат» Creative Union on social media. Today, I registered to become a member of the organization, – she says.

   Abai University places particular emphasis not only on providing students with quality education but also on helping them make effective use of their free time and supporting their personal and professional development. Student organizations play an important role in developing young people’s creative abilities, broadening their horizons, increasing their interest in science, and contributing to their personal growth. In this regard, the Student Organizations Fair is an important event that helps students who have chosen the university as their place of study adapt to the university environment, identify their interests, and determine their path for further development.
