Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy is holding an international networking event “Teacher Leadership: A New Architecture of Change in Education” on September 14, 2026, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova.

Areas of the international Networking:

Teacher Leadership as a Strategic Resource for Educational Transformation;

Teachers’ Professional Capital: Leadership, Values, and a Culture of Change;

Partnership within the Educational Ecosystem: Professional Communities and International Collaboration;

Transformation of Teacher Education: Developing the Leadership Potential of Future Teachers.

Goal: to explore teacher leadership as a driving force for strategic change in education; to discuss the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing teachers’ professional capital and leadership potential; to strengthen professional partnerships and academic cooperation through the integration of national and international experience; and to identify priority areas for preparing competitive, proactive teachers capable of leading and managing change in the context of the transformation of teacher education.

Participants:

Leaders and educators of educational institutions, specialists in professional development, representatives of city education departments, national and international scholars, doctoral students, and master’s students.

The text of the report (3-5 pages) must be prepared in WORD (version 6.0 / 7.0) using Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.0; margins - 20 mm on all sides; paragraph indent - 1.25 cm.
