On the eve of Knowledge Day, Bolat Tilep, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, met with the university’s top graduates. They completed their bachelor’s degrees at the Faculty of Philology of their alma mater and were admitted to master’s degree programs at Kazan Federal University. As the young graduates prepared to travel to the neighboring country with this good news, Bolat Anapiyauly wished them a safe and successful journey and expressed his hope that they would further enhance the reputation of both their nation and their university.

 The top graduates of the Faculty of Philology in 2026, who received diplomas with honors, have been admitted to master’s degree programs at Kazan Federal University in Russia. They will pursue their studies in the field of “Artificial Intelligence in the Turkic-Speaking Media Space.” Chairman of the Board and Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Bolat Tilep met with the graduates and wished them success on their academic and research journey.

 - First and foremost, Kazan Federal University is a higher education institution with a rich history and a distinctive place in the Eurasian educational landscape. Our ties with this university are growing stronger year by year. You are now entrusted with the responsibility of further enhancing the reputation of our nation and Abai University. A new spiritual and cultural center – the Abai Center – is soon to open in Kazan. If you contribute to promoting Kazakh education, science, and culture there, we will always be ready to support you, - said Bolat Anapiyauly.

 The new master’s students at Kazan Federal University include Korkem Sapargali, Zhansaya Zhanibek, Akerke Serikbai, Daniyar Karabala, Kenesary Yermek, and Aibar Sembek. Throughout their undergraduate studies, they demonstrated outstanding academic performance and, through Abai University’s academic mobility program, had the opportunity to further their education in countries such as the United States, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan.

 The meeting was attended by Yerlan Ysqaqov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan, Russian Federation; Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization of the University; Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, Head of the Rector’s Office; mentors of the students, Roza Bakbergenova and Yerlan Qasen; and scholar Murat Myrzakhmetov. At the end of the meeting, Consul General Yerlan Uzanuly expressed his appreciation to the university’s faculty members, professors, and students and presented letters of appreciation.

 It is worth noting that Kazan Federal University is a higher education institution in Kazan and one of the oldest universities in Russia. In 2023, the university ranked fifth among Russia’s largest universities and third in the country in terms of the number of international students.
