A meeting with representatives of Xi'an University of Electronic Sciences and Technology was held at Abai University today. Both sides discussed the opening of a branch of an educational institution in a neighboring state. It was about improving the qualifications of the teaching staff in the framework of academic mobility and education in the fields of pedagogy and artificial intelligence. 

Ji Yanming – General Director of Zhongyi Zhendao (Beijing) International Education Development Company, has arrived on a special visit to the country's best pedagogical university. The meeting was attended by Yertay Sultan, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Elvira Tattibayeva, Director of the Strategy Department, Altynbek Moskalov, Deputy Dean for Research and International Cooperation at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. 

- Today's meeting once again underlines that Abai University is the flagship of teacher education, increasing its authority in the international arena. Opening a branch of an educational institution in China and shaping the education system is an important task. This will obviously contribute to bringing cooperation between the two countries to a new level," said Vice Rector Yertay Sultan. 

During the meeting, lectures on academic curricula and academic mobility programs for faculty at the master's degree level were held at the foreign branch, and issues of professional development were discussed. It is also planned to open joint educational programs in the field of pedagogical and artificial intelligence. 

– It is a great honor for us to open a branch of a foreign pedagogical university in the People's Republic of China. A particularly influential project will be to increase the professionalism of specialists in the field of pedagogy. I am confident that we are successfully implementing joint educational programs and master's degree programs," said Ji Yanming, General Director of Zhongyi Zhendao (Beijing) International Education Development Company. 

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to approve a joint work plan and develop a roadmap. This initiative will expand the interaction of Abai University in the international educational space and develop long-term strategic ties with foreign partners. In the future, the phased implementation of the planned projects will contribute to improving the quality of education and promoting the national pedagogical experience at the international level.
