Abai University hosted its traditional cultural and educational event commemorating the birthday of the great poet, enlightener, and thinker Abai Kunanbayuly, marked by a wreath-laying ceremony at his monument. The gathering, aimed at promoting the poet's spiritual heritage, brought together university leadership, representatives of the Almaty City Culture Department, Abai scholars, faculty members, and students.

 The event aimed to widely promote Abai's rich spiritual legacy and instill his doctrine of Tolyk Adam ("The Complete Human") in the minds of the younger generation. Bolat Tlep, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the university, congratulated the attendees on Abai Day, highlighting its profound significance for the institution. He underscored how the priority given to science and education in the New Constitution aligns with Abai's enduring legacy. Daniyar Aliyev, Head of the Almaty City Culture Department, also delivered heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the great poet's birthday.

 As part of the celebrations, a book exhibition titled Abai Alemi ("World of Abai") was set up in front of the university's main building. Prominent Abai scholar Zhabal Shoyimbet presented research works dedicated to studying and popularizing the poet's heritage, along with Abai University’s successful initiatives in this domain. Additionally, aspiring young poets performed poetic dedications honoring the great thinker.

 Currently, KazNPU named after Abai is implementing five fundamental research projects with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, comprising both grant-funded and internal university initiatives. These include two Ministry grant projects: "Methods of Teaching 21st-Century Kazakh Literature to Schoolchildren" and "Modern Interpretation and Russian Translation of Abai's Words of Edification."

 Alongside these, the university actively drives international and internal initiatives such as "Abai 180: Digital Renaissance," the integration project "Abai: Global Digital Heritage," and a program for young researchers titled "Tolyk Adam 2.0: Educating a New Generation Through Abai's Teachings." Through these major endeavors, Abai KazNPU continues to make substantial contributions to Abai studies and the digitization of cultural heritage.

 Furthermore, the country's first higher education institution hosts the "AbaiLabs" Scientific and Innovation Park, the "Khakim Abai" National Education Center, and international Abai Centers abroad.
