Today, the 40th anniversary meeting of graduates who graduated from the Philological Faculty of Abai University with a degree in Kazakh language and Literature in 1986 took place. Forty years ago, graduates, filled with knowledge and inspired by a great life, returned to the black house, recalling the bright days of their youth and memories of student life. At the anniversary event, the graduates expressed their respect for the educational institution, joined the University Alumni Association and supported the Abai Endowment Fund. 

Graduates who graduated from this educational institution forty years ago are now successfully working in various fields of science and education, public administration and entrepreneurship in the country. Among them are candidates of philological sciences, professors, prominent representatives of the scientific field, university professors, great teachers, school principals, as well as successful entrepreneurs who teach quality education and upbringing to the younger generation in every region of the country.

The Academic curator of the graduates, who taught at Abai University for 18 years, politician, public figure Dos Koshim and head of the Alumni Association Bolatbek Nurbatyrov took part in the festive meeting. 

During the meeting, Dos Koshim addressed the graduates with heartfelt wishes and shared vivid memories of his student days. He also noted with special pride that his students worked worthily in various fields and contributed to the development of the country.

- There is no greater happiness for a teacher than the fact that a student has found his place in life and served the country faithfully. Your achievements today are the result of your knowledge and hard work acquired at the university. Always cherish the teachings you have received from this black shanyrak and continue to serve as an example for the next generation. May respect and connection never be severed," Dos Koshim said.

Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, Head of the Alumni Association, noted the Association's role in strengthening ties between the university and graduates. The newly joined members were also awarded certificates of membership of the association, as well as presented the main directions and upcoming projects of the association.

On behalf of the graduates, Moldain Moldasanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Language, Candidate of Philology, Bakhyt Kalymbet, head of the Department of Language Development and Onomastics at the Department of Internal Policy of Almaty, a teacher-master of the village of Utobe in Aksuat district of Abai region, holder of the badge "Ibrai Altynsarin", mother of the famous akyn-aitysker Rustem Kayyrtaevich Aizhan Oralova, spoke. Paying homage to his teacher, he draped a cloak over his shoulders.

- Gratitude to the teacher is a tremulous feeling that will never run out. Therefore, today's honor is a sign of the sincere love of all graduates. We wish our Kara Shanyrak to continue to conquer high heights," said Moldain Moldasanov.

At the end of the meeting, the graduates took a souvenir photo and got acquainted with the current achievements of the university. The anniversary meeting was a vivid manifestation of the strong ties, mutual respect and partnership between Abai University and its graduates.
