Starting today, the application campaign for participation in the state educational grant competition for higher education institutions has officially begun. Applications from prospective students are accepted from July 13 to July 20. During this period, applicants can choose their fields of study and compete for the opportunity to study free of charge. Abai University is also guiding future students and providing detailed explanations of the registration process.

The right to study on a state-funded basis is determined based on the results of the Unified National Testing (UNT). When choosing a major and a university, applicants are advised to consider the content of the educational program, the demand for the future profession, as well as their personal abilities and interests.

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit the following documents:

Аn identity document (with a copy);

Unified National Testing certificate;

Оriginal diploma/certificate confirming general secondary, technical and vocational, or post-secondary education;

Сertificate of special pedagogical testing (for pedagogical majors);

Supporting documents for preferential categories (large families, orphans, persons with special needs, etc.) – if available.

During the document submission process, the university admissions committee provides comprehensive consultations to applicants and their parents. Specialists explain the grant allocation procedures, provide information about educational programs, and answer questions related to the application process.

In addition, special opportunities are provided for ethnic Kazakhs living abroad (kandases) and foreign citizens. In particular, kandases can participate in the state grant competition even with a minimum UNT score (at least 1 point). Admission of foreign citizens on a paid basis will continue until August 25 and will be conducted based on interview results. The Foundation Faculty is also open to applicants planning to undergo language training.
