At Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University – the cradle of Kazakh spirituality – another graduation ceremony took place. This year, the creative hub of the nearly century-old institution – the Faculty of Arts – sent 213 bachelor’s graduates and 25 master’s graduates into a new stage of life. Among the talented youth who managed to develop their own unique style during their years of study, 47 students became recipients of honors diplomas.

During the ceremonial event, diplomas were awarded to the young specialists by the university’s Vice-Rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakau, Dean of the Arts structure Karim Baigutov, and a faculty professor. In addition, Colonel in reserve Kuandyk Mambetaliev, who specially attended the event, awarded the rank of lieutenant to a number of graduates who successfully completed the military department at the university. He emphasized the importance of defending the Motherland and civic responsibility, wishing the young officers success.

It is worth noting that Tokkozha Kozhagulyov, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan and laureate of the “Daryn” State Prize, awarded the “Zhasampaz” badge and special monetary prizes to three students who distinguished themselves in the field of culture and art through their creative pursuits and outstanding works.

At the end of the event, Dean Karim Baigutov delivered his wishes and наставления to the graduates.

– The main weapon of a truly creative person is knowledge and pure intention. We have shown you the direction, but moving forward along that path is in your hands. One who understands the sacredness of art and upholds national values will never lose their way. May your work bear fruit and receive recognition and appreciation from the people. Congratulations on your new journey! – said the dean.

During the emotional event, the gratitude of devoted teachers, the joy of parents proud of their children’s achievements, and the excitement of graduates filled with mixed feelings came together as one. The sacred educational institution, which has nurtured many outstanding personalities and guided them into the world of art, has once again sent a wave of aspiring youth into the future. The results of four years of dedication will now open doors to new heights for each young specialist. May the future of these young talents, who will contribute to the development of the nation’s culture and elevate national values, be bright, their work fruitful, and their success enduring.
