The Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, one of the first structural divisions of the university with nearly a century-long history, today sent its graduates into a new stage of life. This year, 574 bachelor’s degree students and 186 master’s students graduated from the faculty. In addition, 115 young specialists who completed their studies with excellence were awarded honors diplomas.

The diploma awarding ceremony was opened with a special video congratulation from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek. In his speech, the Minister emphasized that an educated generation is the main capital of the state and expressed confidence that young people will combine professional competence with civic responsibility in their careers. The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, Bolat Tilep, also congratulated the graduates. He noted that the values formed at the university would become a guiding light in the lives of young specialists and wished them honest work and success in achieving professional heights.

During the ceremony, Vice-Rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakau highlighted the special role of the faculty in the life of the university.

– This faculty is a sacred center of science that has strengthened the foundations of national science and trained thousands of qualified teachers and researchers for the country’s education system. Graduates of this faculty are now contributing significantly to the development of school education and the upbringing of the younger generation across the republic. May the knowledge gained from your teachers and the blessings of your parents always guide you. Serve the nation with integrity. May your work be fruitful! – said the Vice-Rector.

Diplomas were awarded to master’s graduates by Vice-Rector Maksat Zhakau and Nurzhamal Oshanova, while bachelor’s graduates received their diplomas from the Dean of the Faculty, Sheripidin Khamraev, and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Zhasulan Orazbekov. In addition, graduates who actively participated in the university’s public life were awarded letters of appreciation. By tradition, all graduates were presented with the book “The Book of Words” by the great thinker Abai Kunanbayev.

The festive atmosphere of the event was enhanced by a commemorative video prepared by the faculty’s active students. It featured memorable moments from academic life, scientific pursuits, days filled with friendship, and unforgettable stages of student life, leaving a strong impression on the audience. Ulbike Zulmanbet, a graduate of the “Physics” program, noted that the years spent at the university were among the most meaningful in her life.

– These years gave us not only knowledge but also taught us life principles, the value of friendship, and responsibility. Behind every achievement stands the faith of our parents, who sacrificed their sleep, and the tireless work of our devoted teachers who inspired us. We promise to оправдать these expectations and always uphold the honor of our university! – said the graduate.

The ceremony concluded with the graduates stepping into a new phase of life. This day will remain in their memory as the result of their educational journey and the beginning of a new stage. Undoubtedly, each young specialist, inspired by dreams, will use the knowledge gained for the benefit of the country and make a worthy contribution to its development.
