YOUTH WHO WILL SERVE THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY RECEIVED THEIR DIPLOMAS
Today,
the ceremonial event “ABAI TULEGI – 2026” continued at the Faculty of Physical
Culture and Initial Military Training. This year, 288 bachelor’s graduates and
9 master’s graduates completed their studies at the faculty, taking a step into
professional life. 22 bachelor’s graduates received diplomas with honors. Among
them, 30 graduates completed the “Initial Military Training” educational
program, and 258 completed the “Physical Culture and Sport” program.
The
ceremonial event was opened with a special video congratulatory message from
the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
Sayasat Nurbek. In his speech, the Minister noted that a higher education
diploma is not only a document confirming the completion of the study period,
but also the beginning of a new stage leading to continuous learning,
professional responsibility, and lifelong improvement of knowledge and skills.
He also called on young professionals to dedicate their knowledge and
professional potential to the benefit of the country and to the development of
national science and the education system.
The
Chairman of the Board – Rector of Abai University, Bolat Tlep, delivered
heartfelt wishes to the young graduates who began their journey into a new life
within the walls of the university. He emphasized that the quality education
and upbringing received at the university will serve as a lifelong guiding
principle for young professionals in any field.

Abai University not only provided you with knowledge in your chosen profession.
It instilled in you civic values, moral qualities such as honesty and
responsibility. Every young specialist who has chosen teaching, coaching, or
military service must always remember that they directly influence the future
of the country and the fate of the younger generation. Wherever you work, in
whichever region you serve, I am confident that you will достойно represent
your alma mater and work tirelessly for the benefit of the country, – said Bolat Tlep.
During
the ceremony, diplomas were presented to graduates by Vice-Rector for
Digitalization Nurken Musabayev, Dean of the Faculty Ernar Ospankulov, and
Sydney Olympic champion, renowned Kazakh boxer Yermakhan Ibraimov.
Graduates
who fully completed the military training program at the faculty were solemnly
awarded the military rank of lieutenant by reserve colonel Kuandyk Mambetaliev,
who wished them to honorably fulfill their duty to the Motherland and always
remain faithful to the military oath.
According
to the established tradition of Abai University, each young specialist was
presented, along with their diploma, with a collection of “Words of
Edification” by the great Kazakh thinker Abai Kunanbayev.
“ABAI
TULEGI – 2026” is the natural result of perseverance and continuous effort
during student years, achievements in sports, and responsibility in military
training. Today’s graduates not only said goodbye to student life but also
assumed new responsibilities as specialists tasked with enhancing the country’s
intellectual potential and fostering a healthy lifestyle and patriotic spirit
among the younger generation. The achievements of each graduate are not only
their personal success but also a reflection of the high standing of their
teachers and their alma mater, Abai University.
