Dr. Gulzhaina Kuralbayevna Kassymova, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, is currently undertaking an international research fellowship at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), one of Indonesia’s leading universities, under the Post-Doctoral Researcher Program.

The fellowship is being conducted within the framework of the EQUITY (Enhancing Quality Education for International University Impact and Recognition) international project, which aims to enhance research quality, strengthen international academic collaboration, and increase the number of publications in high-impact international journals.

During the fellowship, Dr. Kassymova is conducting research on contemporary issues in pedagogy and psychology, exchanging expertise with international scholars, and participating in the preparation of joint scientific publications. In addition, she provides expert support to doctoral students in their research activities and contributes to the development of international academic cooperation. This program creates new opportunities for the integration of Kazakhstani scholars into the global scientific community, promotes collaboration with leading international universities, and enhances the international visibility of Kazakhstan’s research and higher education sector.
